PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively perform selective heating of a specific part and uniform heating of the whole food by arranging freely movable plural radiation antennas under a heating object, switching them by selecting the existence of radiation of electromagnetic waves from the radiation antennas, and controlling positions of the radiation antennas. SOLUTION: Plural radiation antennas 5 are arranged under a heating object 3 on a placing stand 2 in a heating chamber 1, and electromagnetic waves 4 are radiated, and the heating object 3 is heated in a desired finish condition. Among plural radiation antennas 5, the radiation antennas 5 to actually radiate the electromagnetic waves 4 are switched to/from each other by a transmission switching means 6. This transmission switching means 6 is controlled by a switching control means 7, and positions of the radiation antennas 5 are controlled by a position control means 8 so as to become proper for the desired heating distribution. A control means 9 governs the whole control of a high frequency heating device, and a control sequence is decided by the switching control means 7 and the position control means 8. Therefore, the heating object 3 can be heated in a desired finish condition.
