PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the shape dispersion of a piezoelectric actuator by securing the coaxiality of each piezoelectric element by forming a hole through each piezoelectric element so that each piezoelectric element can be supported by a supporting body through the hole. SOLUTION: A hole 16 is formed through each piezoelectric element 13 and, at the same time, a supporting body 17 which supports each element 13 is provided by extending the hole 16 through a piston 11. The supporting body 17 is integrally formed with the piston 11 in a cylindrical shape coaxially extended with the piston 11. The hole 16 is formed in a circular shape coaxially arranged with the discoid piezoelectric element. Each piezoelectric element 13 is supported by the supporting body 17 in a state where the element 13 is coaxially laminated upon another by passing the supporting body 17 through the hole 16. Since a piezoelectric actuator 10 is constituted in such a way, the coaxiality of each discoid piezoelectric element 13 can be secured and the shape dispersion of the actuator 10 can be suppressed. In addition, the wear and short-circuiting of external electrodes 26 and 27 which occur as the actuator 10 expands or contracts can be prevented. |
