ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVELOPMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent image flow and to embody a system adequate for color prints as well without using a heating and thermostatic means for an a-Si (amorphous silicon) photoreceptor in an electrophotographic development system using the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: Two-component developers consisting of toners and magnetic carriers are used as the developer without disposing the heating and thermostatic means for the photoreceptor in the electrophotographic development system using the amorphous silicon photoreceptor. The toners which do not contain carbon black are used as the toners. The compacted and stabilized carriers which are formed with polyolefin films contg. the carbon black by direct polymn. of the polyolefin to the surfaces of inorg. oxide and are subjected to the compaction of the films by applying a mechanical and/or thermal. treatment to the films after the formation of the films by the polymn. to a bulk densrty of 1.5 to 2.5g/cm<2> are used as the carriers.
