PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for extracting an optimum image from a photographic film capable of extracting an image from which details of a highlight part and a shadow part are not reproduced by a print are clearly reproduced. SOLUTION: A film scanner is used to allow a computer to receive at least three kinds of images as an image scanned based on an intermediate level of bright and dark parts, an image scanned based on a shadow part, and an image scanned based on a highlight part from a photographic film obtained by picking up an image of an object, and the images received by the computer are synthesized to extract the image from the photographic film. |
