PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital image forming device by which an image forming operation of each section of the machine is grasped without the load of the operator so as to conduct automatic gradation correction as required. SOLUTION: A scanner is used to read an original, and a black/white developer and a color developer are used to form a toner image of the original onto a photoreceptor drum 102, the toner image is transferred onto recording paper so as to form the image of the original in the digital copying machine. A personal computer 321 is connected to a main CPU 130 via an interface 133 and the image forming operation is displayed on a display device of the personal computer 321 and the operation of the digital copying machine is controlled by the personal computer 321 and a monitor command means monitors the operation of the image forming section and when it is discriminated that calibration is required for the image forming section, a calibration command signal is outputted to the personal computer 321 to conduct a calibration to the image forming section, then the load of the operation by the operator is relieved and the optimum image is formed at all times. |
