Displacement unit for colour cathode ray tube

The displacement unit has a focussing coil (3) in the shape of a saddle, focussing gun launched electron beams. There is a forward circular band section (29) and a rear band section (19) connected by a number of conductor sections (120) forming window openings in the saddle. The shape allows convergence of the three colour beams whilst removing the parabola coma error.
