摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MIM(metal-insulator-metal) type nonlinear device which is small enough in device capacitance, possessed of current-voltage characteristics high enough in steepness, and has a sufficiently constant device resistance in a wide range of applied voltage, a liquid crystal display panel which is of high picture quality and quipped with the MIM nonlinear devices, nonaqueous chemical conversion liquid for manufacturing the MIM nonlinear device, and manufacture of the MIM nonlinear device by using the nonaqueous chemical conversion liquid. SOLUTION: Nonaqueous chemical conversion liquid containing organic solvent and solute has an electric conductivity of 1 to 100ms/cm. It is preferable that the solute comprises either one of calboxylate and salt of inorganic oxo- acid. An MIM nonlinear device 20 is provided with an insulating film 24 which is formed by anodization using nonaqueous chemical conversion liquid.</p>
