PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vibrating impact sensor which can prevent an environment from being polluted when a broken glass pipe is dumped by a method wherein a magnetic pole on one side of a permanent magnet and tip parts of one pair of electrodes are made to protrude into a glass pipe, both ends of the glass pipe are sealed and a detecting element composed of a magnetic substance is sealed in the glass pipe so as to be freely movable. SOLUTION: A permanent magnet 42 and one pair of electrodes 43 are sealed respectively at both ends of a glass pipe 41, and a magnetic pole on one side of the permanent magnet 42 and tip parts on one side of the electrodes 43 are made to protrude into the glass pipe 41. A spherical detecting element 44 which is composed of a magnetic substance such as pure iron or the like and whose surface is plated with rhodium or the like is sealed at the inside of the glass pipe 41 so as to be freely movable, and it is attracted to the end of the magnetic pole of the permanent magnet 42 in an initial state. When an acceleration is applied to the detecting element 44 due to a vibration or an impact and when a force at a magnetic attractive force or higher acts, the detecting element 44 is moved so as to be separated from the permanent magnet 42, it comes into contact with the electrodes 43 on the opposite side of the glass pipe 41, and the power-supply cutoff circuit or the like of an apparatus can be controlled. A harmful substance such as mercury or the like is not sealed in the glass pipe 41, and there is not fear that an environment is polluted even when a broken glass pipe is dumped.
|
