PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the facsimile equipment by which power supply is stopped in the standby state so as to save energy and power is stably supplied at start of power supply. SOLUTION: A transistor(TR) 1 is made nonconductive when a power supply control signal is at a low level in a power supply changeover section so as to stop supply of a system power supply (+5V). When the power supply control signal is switched to be a high level in this state, a capacitor C1 is charged at a prescribed high voltage via a resistor R1 as shown in an arrow (1) and a voltage level at a point A rises gradually. As the voltage level at the point A rises, the TR 1 is gradually made conductive and the TR 1 arises gradually the system power supply (+5VE) from the power supply section from 0V to +5V depending on the conduction state to supply the resulting power as the system power supply. When the standby state is selected again and the power supply control signal is switched to be a low level, the charge in the capacitor C1 is momentarily discharged via a resistor R2 and a diode D1 as shown in an arrow (2) and the TR 1 is momentarily made nonconductive to stop the supply of the system power supply to each section. |
