COMPUTER SYSTEM, HOST COMPUTER SUITABLE FOR THE SYSTEM, AND PORTABLE TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal small in size, light in weight and low in cost, capable of sharing and unitarily managing the data of a personal computer or the like installed in an office or the like, and capable of freely using arbitrary stand along type application soft even though the soft is installed in a host computer. SOLUTION: This system is constituted of a host computer 2 in which stand alone type application soft 204 is integrated, and a portable terminal 3 connected to the host computer through communication. The host computer is provided with a host side input controlling means 202 which switches an input data supply source for the application to a host side inputting device 22 and a host side communication equipment 21, and a processed result extracting means 203 which extracts output data to be transmitted to a host side outputting device 23 as the processed result of the application soft, and transmits the output data to a host side communication equipment 21.
