PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a refrigerate/freezer serviceable even in an explosive gas atmosphere with safety by enclosing every joining area with an electric line existing outside a compressor and a control panel and enclosing the electric line or a draw lead part of a metal pipe with a filled up resin material or brazing on the whole surface. SOLUTION: An explosion-proof refrigerator/freezer device which sets up a refrigerator unit 3 on a refrigerator/freezer which is buried in an open and close area except for both ends of a heating pipe 15, is designed to house a control mechanism 6, which controls a refrigerant circulation passage and an electric system with a refrigerant leakage detection mechanism 7 which gives an alarm when a detected interior temperature exceeds a definite temperature and this state continues for a definite time, in a control panel 5 under explosion- proof structure. Every joining area with the cable 21 existing outside the control panel 5 and the compressor 9 is enclosed with a resin material while every draw lead part into the control panel 9 or a metal pipe is filled with the resin material and enclosed by brazing. A thermosetting resin material 28 is filled up in the clearance between the surrounding wall 5a of the control panel 5 and the able 21. |
