<p>The tool produces threaded holes in sheets, hollow strips and solid strips in a single working stage. The shaping path is divided into three phases. The first phase consists of a conical shaping tip (4), the cross section of which has a polygonal shaping profile. The second phase consists of a following cylindrical transition piece with polygonal cross section and free grinding groove (6) at the rise of the thread being cut. The third phase consists of a working part with thread ridging with shaping region of non-cylindrical polygonal profile.</p>
