A new device for processing orders for supplying orthodontic bands with orthodontic functional parts that are specifically fitted comprises: a computer unit with a memory for managing basic data of the non-fitted orthodontic bands, basic data of the functional parts that are to be welded on, and data of the bands which are specifically fitted with one or more functional parts, and graphic data records relating to the fitted and non-fitted bands and to the functional parts; an input device for inputting the data of an order for a band with a functional part specifically fitted and/or functional parts specifically fitted; and a printer unit for printing an order acknowledgement and for printing labels with order data and with a graphic representation of the band which is specifically fitted.
