<p>The press consists of a multi part press frame surrounding a pressure vessel. The frame section below the vessel is formed by a rectangular pressure carrier, with saw tooth like transverse profiles on its two opposite sides. Positioned above the filling aperture of the vessel is a cross head, which has a central bore with an inserted pressure member, and similar transverse profiles. Cross head and carrier are connected by tension plates, which also have corresponding profiles. A base section is connected to the lower end of the vessel, the cylinder bore of which contains a separating piston. Additional pressure elements act on all sections. The isostatic press if formed in safety construction, to compress powdered materials into blanks of any shape.</p> |
