The supply comprises a solar cell assembly (3) to which is coupled an accumulator (5), external terminals, and stand for securing the supply. A pref. flat accumulator forms the rear boundary of a carrier, while the solar cell assembly forms the front one. The carrier has members for suspension of the supply and at least one connector to an electric appts. Pref. the accumulator and solar cell assembly are secured at a base plate (1) of a heat insulating material, into which is embedded an electric control board.
