Coupling device for optical element

The coupling device is used for coupling an interchangeable lens unit and an optical element, e.g. a colour separation prism. This is done using a plate (3) with two surfaces orthogonal to the optical axis of the optical element, one of which supports the lens unit. The optical element is supported by a base (8) which is displaced relative to a second base (7) in a plane parallel to the second surface of the plate, in a first coordinate direction. The second base is displaced relative to the plate in a perpendicular coordinate direction.
