Non-combustible heat insulating fibre product

A novel non-combustible fibre product contains (by wt.) 20-70 % cellulose fibres, 15-45 % calcium carbonate, 0.01-1 % cationic wetting agent and either (a) 0.05-1 % biologically active water-insoluble interface-active agent (preferably a thiuram salt, especially tetradecyl thiuram bromide) or 0.25-6.5 % calcium peroxide and balance fillers and optionally one or more biocidal agents or (b) 5-35 % cement and balance fillers, selected from Al2O3, SiO2, MgO, calcium and aluminium silicates, BaSO4, Na2CO3, KCl, K2CO3, CaF and/or iron oxides, and optionally one or more biocidal agents.
