Knitter lifter guide

The guide system, for lifters at a knitter, has each lifter in a slit (4) formed by two strips (3), locked by a connection mass at a given distance apart. The connecting mass is of a metal alloy such as lead or hardened plastics. Also claimed is a mfg. process where the strips are placed in a mould, at their required intervals, and the mass is moulded in place to bond them together.
