The structure has a roof (10) with at least one plate-type roof element (20), with which a roof opening (11) can be sealed tightly. From the shut position, the cover (20) can be moved inwards and sideways into the inner space (22) to an open position. Once the device to be protected has been placed within the structure, the cover (20) is returned to the sealed position using a lifting pole (45), which can be positioned on the device being protected.
