The known systems for measuring the mass of a fluid element include a measuring device accommodated in the console, upstream of which an electrical rectifier is mounted with a grid. In order to simplify both the manufacture and the assembly and make sure that the grid (21) is accurately oriented towards the electrical rectifier (20), the latter has elements with stop-notches (40), capable of elastic distortion to enable the grid (21) to be set up so as to keep it (21) separable against the electrical rectifier (20). The inventive device is designed to measure the mass of a fluid element, including the mass of inlet air in internal combustion engines.
