A digital repair authorization system and method includes acquiring digital estimate data and digital images linked to the estimate data and transmitting the data to a control facility for authorization of the estimate. The estimate data and associated images can be viewed by auditors at control center workstations. Digital authorizations are generated and transmitted back to the originating entity. The estimate and image data files are stored in a central database for management information and control. |
