<p>A head flexure assembly (40) for positioning a transducing head (25) over a selected track (34) of a rotatable disc (30) in a disc drive system (10) having an actuator arm (16) and head suspension (18) includes a bimorph piezoelectric microactuator (46) having first and second ends. The first end of the microactuator (46) is attached to the actuator arm (16), and a flexure (22) is attached to the second end of the microactuator (46).
