<p>A sports utility belt (10) has a central body (12) with first and second end portions (14, 16) and a middle portion (22) intermediate the end portions. A strap (24) has one end connected to the first end portion (14) of the central body (12) and a free distal end. The strap is extendible between a retracted position at which the distal end contacts the central body and an extended position at which the distal end is spaced from the central body. A key pouch (26) is attached to the distal end of the strap and movable with the distal end between a retracted position at which the key pouch contacts the central body and an extended position at which the key pouch is spaced from the central body. The second end portion receives a watch or cardiovascular monitoring device. The central body is adapted to receive a water bottle (32) to be carried with the user for convenience. A drinking tube (38) is provided so that the user can drink while wearing the belt.</p> |
