PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide system/method for reusing band width for effectively using entire channels and holding the security of an end user in a bi-directional communication system. SOLUTION: This band width reusing method contains a process for transmitting first downward information with a first band width segment and transmitting second downward information with a second band width segment. Information are route-selected toward corresponding first and second incoming stations 30 and 40. First upward information is transmitted from the first incoming station 30 with the band width segment used for down ward transmission except for the first band width segment, and second upward information is transmitted from the second incoming station 40 with the band width segment used for downward information, except for the second band width segment. Namely, upward information from the prescribed incoming station is transmitted with band width different from band width receiving downward information. In is suitable that first upward information is transmitted with the second band width segment, and the second upward information is transmitted with the first band width segment.
