PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of a communication terminal by producing the link map data where the identification information on a reference document and other documents are arranged based on the link relation information. SOLUTION: A print request/result analysis part 103 analyzes a print request and sends the print result. A hypermedia document analysis part 105 acquires a document by the received document name, stores the document in a document storage part 109, analyzes the contents of the document to acquire a file if an image, etc., is designated in the document, and stores the file in an image storage part 111. When the image data must be processed, the image data are sent to an image processing part 113. The part 113 converts the image data into a necessary form via the part 105. A print data conversion part 17 acquires the result of analysis of the part 105 and converts the result into the data proper to a printer to store them in a print data storage part 119. Then the part 105 sends the necessary information to a link map production part 115 for production of a link map of the document.
