The anti-bending device has a shell-like protective section (2). The fitting has an inner section (3) and outer section (4) fastened to it, between which one end (1a) of the line is form-interlocked into place. The protective section (2) is friction fitted over a fastening section (5) at one end. At the other end, the bending protection (6) section surrounds the hose (1) with an intervening annular cavity (7). The novel feature is the elastic ring inlaid without compression in this annulus. This intermediate ring (8) is preferably a chloroprene rubber or a chloro-butadiene copolymer.
