PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center contact of a plug terminal for a coaxial cable of which the center conductor length control is similarly easy as a conventional one and make it observable with eyes and easily confirmable that the gap between the center conductor and the conductor insertion hole of the center contact is uniformly filled with a solder. SOLUTION: This center contact 10 of a plug terminal for a coaxial cable comprises a pin part 11 to be inserted into a pin hole of a jack terminal for a coaxial cable to be connected and a center conductor fixation part 12 having a center conductor insertion hole 13 in which a center conductor of a coaxial cable is inserted and fixed, and a solder injection hole 14 communicated with the center conductor insertion hole 13 from the outer circumferential part is formed in the center conductor fixation part 12 and a slit 16 communicated with the center conductor insertion hole 13 from the outer circumferential part is formed in the end face of the rear end part 15 of the center conductor fixation part 12.
