PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail system provided with a video by which a time until the start of video display at the time of calling a mail can be shortened, and a large storage capacity can be unnecessitated for a client. SOLUTION: This system is provided with plural mail clients 11, mail server 12, and video server 13 for preserving a video picture to be added to a mail. The video picture to be added to a transmission mail by the mail client 11 is detached from a mail main body, and registered in the video server 13, and information related with the preserving place of the video picture is added to the mail main body, and the mail main body is transmitted to the mail server 12. Also, the mail client 11 receives the mail main body of a reception mail and the information related with the preserving place of the video picture from the mail server 12, and requests the video server 13 to transmit the video picture added to the reception mail. |
