Valve for fuel injection system of internal combustion engine

The valve (1) comprises a valve needle (2) and a coaxial actuating piston (3) which is arranged in a stepped hole (7) of a housing (6) and has a necking (5). The valve has a feedline (10), a control chamber (20), as well as a solenoid valve (21) through which the control chamber is connected with a relief line (22). A throttled connecting line (19) is provided as a bypass between the feedline and the relief line. The connecting line has a leakage valve which communicates with the solenoid valve so that during injection, the connecting line can be cuttof. The leakage valve is arranged with a high-pressure valve provided with valve seats (8,28) on either pressure sides. The leakage and high-pressure valve may be formed as a double-acting ball valve (4).
