PURPOSE:To perform information transmission and cost reduction without degrading the performance of an entire system by directly transmitting information between an interchangeable lens and a body without interposing an adapter. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 4 is incorporated in the body 1; a lens CPU 5, in the lens 2; and an adapter CPU 6, in the adapter 3 respectively. A power source 8 for a driving source incorporated in the lens is incorporated in the body 1, and a power source line VM and a grounding line GNDM are connected to the driving source 9 incorporated in the lens 2 through mount contacts (a) and (b) between the body 1 and the adapter 3 and mount contacts A and B between the lens 2 and the adapter 3. The intrinsic information of the adapter 3 is transmitted to an interchangeable lens 2 side by an information transmission system between the adapter 3 and the interchangeable lens 2, and the correction of the information transmitted between the lens 2 and the body 1 based on the intrinsic information of the adapter 3 is performed on the lens 2 side. |
