Components (RNT, BS) at the communication terminal side of a communication network (KN) transmit a version identification (vi) which shows their actual version (V2, 3) to the corresponding components (RDU) at the side of the communication network (KN) in the framework of a log-on procedure. The components (RDU, RNT, BS) are adjusted depending on the transmitted version identification (vi2, 3) to achieve matching communication protocols and paths of transmission. |
