<p>The present invention pertains to a positive displacement pump comprising a casing (1) with inlet and outlet apertures (14, 15) which connect with working chambers (10, 11) of varying volume, a hub (2) with a double acting piston (3) united therewith and a device intended to enable a rotary-oscillatory movement by both the hub (2) and the piston (3). In a first embodiment, said device includes a separating partition (9) fixedly attached to the inner wall of the casing (1) as well as a slot (7) provided in the piston (3). The separating partition (9) is located in the slot (7), and the piston (3) is ring-shaped and mounted transversally to the hub (2) axle (5). In a second embodiment, a pair of pistons (45) facing each other is installed on the hub (2), and the device intended to enable a rotary-oscillatory movement comprises a ring-shaped plate (49) with a slot (48), fixedly attached in the equatorial plane of the pump casing (1) transversally to the pump shaft (6), as well as a separating partition (47) located in the slot (48) and fixedly attached to the hub (2) or both the hub (2) and the pistons (45).</p> |
