Bearing bush for motor vehicle power transmission sequence

The bearing bush has a rubber insulator with an inner axis and hollow spaces on opposite sides of the inner axis. The hollow spaces (13) have wall courses with varying radii, as measured from the centre of inner axis. The bush also has a rotary device to rotate the rubber insulator. The hollow spaces are formed symmetrically around the centre of the inner axis (11) and the wall curve of the hollow spaces of the rubber insulator is an involute curve. The rotary device is provided for several positions and can rotate the rubber insulator (16) through a predetermined angle. The rotating device has a cylindrical holder (25), which locates the rubber insulator. A bearing (20) is fitted between the holder and the rubber insulator. Several electro-magnets (15,26) are spaced apart on the outer tube of the rubber insulator and are fitted on the inner surface of the cylindrical holder. The rotary device is governed independently of the engine speed by a control unit (30).
