Adjustment device for chopper unit

The adjustment device adjusts the position of the counter-blade rail (5) of a chopper unit, and its support, in relation to chopper blades (3) on a chopping drum (1) of the unit, by a pair of levers, which are mounted on the frame outside the drum. Both ends of a base plate (11) of the chopper unit are radially adjustable in relation to the movement of the counter-blade rail. The displacement movement of the counter-blade rail is transmitted by a pivot bolt (9). Pivot-mounted bearing sleeves on the pivot bolt are joined to the base plate, and to the front end of the base plate.
