The invention concerns a motor vehicle disc brake which can be actuated electromechanically and comprises a floating calliper and an actuating unit disposed thereon. The actuating unit comprises an electric motor which, with the interposition of a reduction gear, adjusts an actuating element by means of which one of two friction linings displaceably disposed in the brake calliper are brought into engagement with a brake disc.
