The tool comprises a semi-circular cutting tool with a semi-circular cutting edge which cuts through vertebral arches, muscles and skin longitudinally to the spinal channel. The cutting tool is guided with the aid of a sensorial tool positioned medially under the vertebral arches and follows the spinal dorsal internal relief. A protecting plate is located under and in front of the blades, affording protection to the spinal column and nerves. It also creates more space for the cutting tool by pressing the nerve structures towards the front of the spinal channel. The cutting complex (guide unit, protection and blade) is fitted on a suspended carriage, which guarantees a continuous pressure from the guiding unit against the inside of the vertebral arches.
