The interconnection strip for use with telephone or computer lines comprises at least two parallel rows (R1, R2) of linked self-stripping metal contacts (5, 5'). Each of these contacts has a main part (7) which forms the self-stripping connection slot, extended by a further section (9) which serves to connect this metal contact to its linked contact (5'). Each connector thus has a linked second connector, such that the two wires of telephone lines to be linked are fitted into the tow self-stripping contacts. The connectors are mounted in adjacent pairs, and in order to reduce the diaphony between connectors, without increasing their separation, the link sections (9) are tapered away from each other. This results in the conductors not being so close and reduces cross-talk between them.
|
