<p>A safety apparatus against flooding has a feed tube (2, 28) to a user appliance, in particular to a washing machine, for connecting it to a water supply, there being shut-off devices (3, 4) along the tube for passage of fluid. The apparatus comprises two or more modules (M1, M2, M3) which can be connected one after another in a row. Each module encloses at least a part of the tube and at least one end (20, 40) of a module has means (2A, 10, 10') for coupling to or decoupling from the end of an adjacent module (M2, M3) in the row which in turn have devices for quick coupling and decoupling.</p> |
