Reconfigurable remote controller for controlling access functions in an audio-video receiver

The controller has an installed memory which contains information concerning access control. A signal selection function (24) is set by an access control mechanism (22) which is set by a function selection controller (21). A switch allows mode switching, from a nominal mode to a configuration mode, allowing stored information modification. The stored information associates identifiers (13) in the configuration mode with a list of identifiers in the function selection controller.
