<p>1288944 Toy drive unit BUHLER NACHFOLGER GmbH GEB 12 Dec 1969 [13 Dec 1968] 60798/69 Heading A6S [Also in Division H2] A drive unit, particularly for toys, comprises a motor 2 mounted on a gear casing 3, the motor shaft carrying a pinion 13 engaging one of a pair of coaxial input gears 14, 16 of a gear train. To change to input ratio of the gear train, either the motor is reversely mounted on the casing so as to engage a second pinion on the other end of the motor shaft with the other input gear, or the motor is replaced by a further motor carrying the second pinion. As shown, the motor is retained on the casing 3 by a cam 7 which engages a cavity 8 in a bearing plate 9 of the motor. The plate 9 carries terminals which make pressure contact with contact tongues on the apparatus in which the unit is mounted.</p> |
