<p>A self-emission type image display device comprising a first transparent substrate 101, transparent pixel electrodes 102 and driving elements 103 for respectively driving the transparent pixel electrodes 102 which are respectively formed on one surface of the first transparent substrate 101, a common electrode 104, a luminescent layer 105 provided between the common electrode 104 and the first transparent substrate 101, transparent discrete capacitance electrodes 106 formed on the other surface of the first transparent substrate 101, a transparent common capacitance electrode 111, and a transparent capacitance layer 107 provided between the transparent common capacitance electrode 111 and the first transparent substrate 101, the corresponding electrodes in the discrete capacitance electrodes 106 and the pixel electrodes 102 being connected to each other by a contact hole 101a, the transparent common capacitance electrode 111 and the common electrode 104 being connected to the ground by a connecting line 110 in a peripheral edge portion of the panel. <IMAGE></p> |
