The stepping motor has at least one energising winding and a stator (2) provided around its periphery with a number of spaced poles (15), separated from one another by air gaps.The stator poles have the same angular width, which is less than half the angular segment width, provided by dividing 360 degrees by a whole number. The rotor (3) has a number of rotor segments (34) cooperating with the stator poles to provide a magnetic circuit. The angular width of the individual rotor segments varies between the angular width of the stator poles and the angular segment width. |
