PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To average the operation rate of respective machines by watching the storing of a file holder, calculating the housing rate of the file holder based on a storing/delivering record and indicating the housing rate of the file holder on a picture. SOLUTION: The input/output watching unit 100d of a record control computer 100 watches the storing/delivering of a file holder. CPU 100a indicates the calculation of a housing rate and empty number to a housing rate calculation unit 100e and empty number calculation unit 100f. The housing rate calculation unit 100e calculates the housing rate based on a housing data memorized on a hard disc 100i based on this indication. The empty number calculation unit 100f calculates a residual empty number to be stored newly based on the housing data memorized on the hard disc 100i alike. The calculation result is sent to the automated housing device 1 of the file holder and indicates the housing rate and empty number to an indication picture 2a1 by the control of a control unit A. At each time of the storing/delivering of the file holder, the calculation and calculation result of the housing rate and empty number are indicated.
