PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furniture member for chair interlocking adjustment of backrest and seat. SOLUTION: The adjustment of backrest 2 and seat 3 is interlocked, this member has a holding frame, backrest 2 and seat 3 attached on the holding frame so as to be adjusted, the backrest 2 and the seat 3 are connected mutually movably in the area of apex at an angle formed between the both, the backrest 2 is linked to a turn shaft 4 on the holding frame at the interval of distance above the apex of angle, and the seat 3 is movably attached to the holding frame 3 near the fore end of the seat 3 by a holding mechanism. At such a position, the holding frame performs movement combining the backward reclination and falling the backrest 2 performs from a sitting position to a recliing position and on the other hand, the seat part 3 performs light movement synchronously combining slide and pull-up.
