PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent blocking between the surface and rear of a receiving sheet even when it is preserved in a high humidity environment by employing zirconium ammonium carbonate as a waterproofing agent in a rear surface coating layer. SOLUTION: A rear surface coating layer contains zirconium ammonium carbonate as a waterproofing agent. The zirconium ammonium carbonate generally discharges water, ammonia and carbon dioxide to form a strong carbon- oxygen-zirconium bond through crosslinking reaction with a compound, e.g. polyvinyl alcohol, starch, carboxymethyl cellulose, casein, acryl resin or styrene- butadiene copolymer, having a functional group, e.g. carboxyl group, amido group, hydroxyl group or methylol, thus exhibiting excellent waterprootness. Furthermore, it also reacts on an anti-charging agent having no functional group and causing no crosslinking reaction thus enhancing waterproofness without sacrifice of anti-charging effect. |
