PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the strength of body and to attain decorativeness and impermeability by using the pulverized waste contg. vitreous material and scrap iron and metal as the raw material, mixing them, kneading the mixture with water into colors state, applying the colors on a shaped refractory clay, firing, melting and vitrifying the shape. SOLUTION: The conventional ceramic is produced by firing an argil better in quality than clay, glazing the argil and firing it again. The glaze is needed in the production of ceramics and must be purchased. When waste is used as glaze, the cost is reduced, and the waste is recylcled. Further, the time and efforts for glazing are saved by adding a refractory clay to the waste, shaping and firing the shape. The raw material is prepared by mixing the waste concrete contg. vitreous material, surplus soil, scrap iron and metal and pulverizing the mixture. Meanwhile, a shaped material such as bowl and pot is produced and dried. Then, it is coated with the coating agent of colors state and fired. |
