摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain proper indoor space and reduce the height of a building by arranging no member in space inside the plane of a structure along a roof and a gable, and providing a brace on the plane of a structure along roof surface. SOLUTION: A ridge beam 3 is held on the upper end of roof posts 2 mounted on the center part of a tie beam 1a, and sloped beams 4 are arranged between the upper ends of the roof posts 2 and both ends of the tie beam 1a, as well as between the center part of the ridge beam 3 and the center part of a ridge beam 1b. A roof truss F is thereby formed. Then, a roof plane is formed out of the ridge beam 3 of the roof truss F and a ridge beam 1b, and the plane of a structure at the side of the gable is formed out of the tie beam 1a, the roof posts 2 and the sloped beams 4. Also, no member such as a beam and a brace is laid in space inside the roof plane and the plane of a structure at the side of the gable. In addition. braces 5 are laid on the diagonal lines of a rectangular part made of the ridge beam 3 of the roof plane of the roof truss F, the ridge beam 1b and the sloped beams 4 as four sides, thereby coping with a horizontal load acting on the roof truss F. As a result, the height of the whole of a building can be reduced, with sufficient indoor space maintained.</p>
