PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently performing a multicolor recording process using a wide range of coloring materials to be selected from and with the help of a multicolor recording material with highly stable shelf life. SOLUTION: A recording material consists of a first recording layer containing a photodecolorizing element and a second recording layer containing a photocolor developing element, formed on a support. The photodecolorizing element of the first recording material is mixed using a first heat to form a first latent image, then the first latent image or an image other than the first latent image is decolorized using a light, and the photocolor developing element of the second recording layer is mixed using a second heat whose energy is higher than the first heat to form a second latent image. Finally, the color of the second latent image is developed using the light. |
