PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a correct tooth form and also shorten a molding time by introducing a cylindrical matrix with a projecting part and a recessed part into a molded product consisting of a tooth cloth, a core wire, an unvulcanized rubber sheet and a tooth cloth laminated sequentially on the outer peripheral face of a grooved mold and accurately embossing the molded product under thermal pressure after semivulcanizing and further, vulcanizing the embossed molded product. SOLUTION: A tooth cloth 5 is wound around a grooved mold 1 with a groove part 2 and a tooth part 3, and further, a core wire 4, an unvulcanized rubber sheet 7 and a flat tooth cloth 5 are wound around the surface of the grooved mold 1 to obtain molded product 15. After that, guide bars 25 are fitted to the surface of the molded product 15, then a matrix 30 with a recessed part 31 and a projecting part 32 is introduced along the guide bar 2, and all of the guide bars 25 are removed. Next, the molded product 15 are transferred to a preembossing step in which the molded product 15 are vulcanized and a jacket is fitted to the outside of the matrix 30 to semivulcanize the molded product 15. Then, a belt sleeve which is premoldings is detached from the grooved mold 1. Finally, the belt sleeve is pinched and pressurized with a pressing mold to accurately mold and vulcanize an upper tooth part and a lower tooth part. |
