PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain mortar or concrete capable of keeping slump close to that obtained immediately after kneading even when standing time after kneading of concrete becomes long and free from bad influence on quick setting property and compression strength after curing by compounding a polycarboxylic acid (salt) with an esterified material of a polycarboxylic acid in kneading mortal or concrete. SOLUTION: Cement is compounded and kneaded with an accelerator such as an inorganic salt-based, cement mineral-based, natural mineral-based or water glass-based accelerator, 0.01-0.6wt.%, preferably 0.05-0.4wt.% polycarboxylic acid (salt) or 0.01-0.2wt.%, preferably 0.002-0.1wt.% esterified product of polycarboxylic acid obtained by esterifying carboxyl group of polycarboxylic acid (salt) or 0.005-0.2wt.% oxycarboxylic acid salt and water. Thereby, mortar or concrete free from impairing quick setting property after adding the accelerator and compression strength after hardening is obtained. |
